A barber who got his start on the South Side and became famous by creating signature hairstyles featuring famous faces has now created a look to honor the 19 children and two teachers gunned down inside an elementary school classroom in Uvalde.

San Antonio restaurant facing continual struggles after food truck is reported stolen on Christmas Day
SAN ANTONIO – The owners of Fat Tummy Empanadas have kept bellies full and people smiling for the last three years. Co-owner Norah Saleh said the restaurant, located on South Murry and West Commerce, gained popularity after being featured on the Food Network. Saleh said they have been able to get by with curbside order, but she credits their food truck for keeping business alive. “Like every other owner, small business owner, it’s the fear that you’re going to have to close down,” Saleh said. Saleh said the food truck was a way to get out into the community, but now she hopes the community will come to them.

But there is also footage from Parker’s final season in San Antonio and the injury that almost ended his career in the 2017 playoffs. It was produced by a French film crew and directed by French filmmaker Florent Bodin. “This film examines the background and career of Tony Parker, whose determination led him to become arguably the greatest French basketball player,” Netflix said about the documentary. Parker also has an autobiography released in November called “Tony Parker: Beyond All of My Dreams.”He is arguably the greatest French basketball player of all-time — now, meet the man behind the legacy.

It features interviews from Spurs Coach Gregg Popovich, former teammates Tim Duncan and Bruce Bowen, and the late Kobe Bryant. I’d think, ‘I’m just different.’”Parker also has a new autobiography this year, called “Tony Parker: Beyond All of My Dreams.”Parker retired after the 2018-19 season.

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Zoo is bringing back the annual Zoo Lights holiday celebration and this year it also includes LEGO brick sculptures. All of the different areas of the zoo have been transformed for the holidays and tricked out in festive holiday lights. Whataburger Zoo Lights is included with standard zoo admission and free for annual pass holders and members. More than 95% of the zoo light displays are made using LED lights which are energy efficient and require a fraction of the electricity compared to regular incandescent lights, zoo officials said. The San Antonio Zoo is located at 3903 N St. Mary’s Street and is open seven days a week.

Former Spur Tony Parker announces split from wife on Twitter
SAN ANTONIO Former Spur Tony Parker, who played 17 seasons with the silver and black, announced Monday that he and his wife Axelle Francine are separating. This separation will be guided by complete mutual respect and the preservation of well-being of our two sons, Parker wrote in the Twitter post. Parker said he decided to go public with the decision to avoid rumors and speculation. Parker retired from the NBA in 2019 after playing one season with the Charlotte Hornets. He lives in San Antonio but spends time in France where he is president of the ASVEL basketball club.
