BEXAR COUNTY – Bexar County sheriff’s deputies fired gunshots at a shooting suspect, injuring him, before he was arrested in far West Bexar County, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies were initially dispatched to the area for a report of a 38-year-old man shooting out a window of his house.
Upon arrival, the man was found near his residence, either in the garage or front yard, armed with two handguns, one in each hand, according to Sheriff Salazar.
Sheriff Salazar said the man then directed his vehicle toward a deputy, and that deputy fired gunshots at the man driving the car.
No deputies were injured in the incident, but the suspect was injured in the arm and leg.
