Speeding car launches on Interstate 10 near UTSA campus, killing 2 men, police say
(Original Story)San Antonio police say a driver who crashed his car on a Northwest Side highway, killing himself and his passenger, was speeding. The crash happened shortly after 2 a.m. Wednesday on Interstate 10 near Hausman Road. Police say the car had been heading east on Hausman when it reached a dead end at Interstate 10 and should have turned onto the access road. Instead, they say, the car continued heading straight, hit a barrier then launched onto the main lanes of the highway. The car then hit the median, killing the two men inside the car.

Driver, car sprayed with bullets on North Side highway
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police are trying to find out who sprayed a car and its driver with gunfire on a North Side highway. They say a passerby noticed the car pulled over to the side of the road on Highway 281 near Nakoma late Tuesday night. When officers arrived around 11:45 p.m. they found the driver inside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police said the car had at least 20 bullet holes. They say they had received several calls about gunshots in the area shortly before getting the call about the wounded man in the car.
Man killed in West Side crash after stealing Camaro, San Antonio police say
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police say a man is dead after crashing a stolen car on the West Side. Police say the man stole a red Chevrolet Camaro from a convenience store after the car was left unlocked. The Camaro was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes. A sedan was traveling westbound and swerved into oncoming traffic to avoid colliding with the Camaro, police said. The man who stole the car died at the scene after a head-on collision with another vehicle.
