AdPark's family was the first to launch a GoFundMe page. This is simply a change in my life,โ Park wrote to the 70,000 people who had contributed as of Sunday afternoon.
S. Korean court upholds prison term for ex-president Park

$23 million land bridge in San Antonio nearing completion
SAN ANTONIO โ Itโs set to be a unique feature for the City of San Antonio, and itโs almost complete. Tobin Land Bridge that will connect Phil Hardberger Park east and west is scheduled to be completed this fall, likely by the end of October. Padre Island National Seashore closed until further notice due to damage from Hurricane Hanna
Texas Damage from Hurricane Hanna has caused Padre Island National Seashore to close until further notice. According to a post on the parks Facebook page, the Laguna and Gulf sides of the island both sustained damage. Park officials are hoping to re-open by the end of the week but an official date will have to wait until a full assessment has been done.Part of Bob Hall Pier has collapsed from Hurricane Hanna, officials sayThere have been inquiries on social media about volunteering to help clean up but park officials are currently unsure what the process will be or when we may be able to bring volunteers out.If its determined that volunteers can safely help, a call to action will be posted on the parks Facebook page. Padre Island National Seashore is the longest stretch of undeveloped barrier island in the world, according to the National Park Service.
Driver sought after rollover crash at NW Side apartment complex
Published: May 11, 2020, 6:11 am Updated: May 11, 2020, 7:39 amSAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police are still looking for a driver who crashed through the metal fence of a Northwest Side apartment complex and hit another vehicle in the parking lot early Monday. Nearby, a metal fence had been knocked down and another vehicle in the parking lot, an SUV, had sustained visible damage. It had a broken back window, big dents in its tail end and was left partially sitting on the sidewalk. Witnesses told police they saw the driver of the BMW climb out of his overturned car and leave the scene, heading toward Interstate 10. No one at the apartment complex was injured.
City parks to be closed over Easter weekend, officials say

Update 4/2/20:City leaders said Thursday that city parks will be closed to the public on Easter weekend. โRight now weโre looking at closing all the city parks on Saturday and Sunday of Easter weekend, starting midnight on Friday, all the parks will be closed. Easter camping is a long-standing tradition in San Antonio when the city usually lifts the curfew at parks for three nights leading up to Easter Sunday. Now, the city is looking to close the parks entirely over Easter weekend to keep people from holding celebrations and gatherings.
