Motorcyclist killed after losing control of bike, hitting fence identified
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police say a motorcyclist may have been speeding just before he lost control of his bike and slammed into a wrought iron fence. The biker, who the medical examiner identified as 45-year-old Justin Scott Patton, died as a result of the crash. Police responded to the crash around 1 a.m. Wednesday on North W.W. White Road near Loop 410. They say it appears Patton took a curve too fast as he exited the highway, then hit a curb alongside W.W. White Road and went flying. Both Patton and the bike slammed into the fence in a parking lot.

Man, 50, hospitalized in motorcycle crash near Highway 90, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A 50-year-old man was taken to an area hospital following a motorcycle crash on the city’s West Side late Sunday night, San Antonio police said. The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on General Hudnell Drive near Highway 90. According to police, officers arrived to find the man injured and unresponsive in a grassy area next to a wrecked motorcycle. The motorcyclist was taken by EMS to University Hospital with possible life-threatening injuries. The investigation into the crash is ongoing, police said.

Motorcyclist breaks leg in crash with semi truck, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A man in his 30s on a motorcycle broke his leg in a crash with a H-E-B semi truck late Tuesday night, San Antonio police said. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on FM 78 near Springfield Road, not far from Loop 410 and Seguin Road on the city’s Northeast Side. According to police, the motorcyclist was struck by the semi truck while it was turning onto Springfield Road. Police said the man severely injured his leg and he was taken to Brooke Army Medical Center. The San Antonio Police Department and EMS both answered the call.

Motorcyclist in critical condition after crashing on Highway 90 access road, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A motorcyclist is in critical condition after he crashed on the Highway 90 access road early Thursday morning, San Antonio police said. The crash occurred just before 3 a.m. on the access road of Highway 90, in the area of Springvale near the Victory Worship Center. A driver of an Audi A4 who pulled into a parking lot after hitting a dead dog heard the motorcycle crash. The driver said the motorcyclist was “wobbling back and forth” before he fell off the bike, according to police. The access road of the highway was closed as emergency crews worked.

BCSO: Motorcyclist found dead in South Bexar County
SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a motorcyclist was found dead late Tuesday night. The incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Highway 16 South near West Jett Road, in South Bexar County. Deputies said they found the motorcyclist not far down the road from the bike, deceased. Motorcycle racing on Loop 410 ends with 1 dead, 1 seriously injured, police say
SAN ANTONIO – One person is dead and another person is injured after three motorcycles crashed while racing on Loop 410 late Monday night, San Antonio police said. The crash occurred around 11 p.m. on Loop 410 between Palo Alto Road and South Zarzamora Street. According to police, three motorcyclists were racing eastbound on SW Loop 410 at a high-rate of speed when they all lost control of their motorcycles. Motorcyclist remembered as man with heart for his community
San Antonio – Family members remembered a motorcyclist killed in a seven-vehicle crash Saturday as a man with a heart for helping others and someone who lived his life to the fullest. “I was in the garage working on a bike,” said Guerra’s brother, who asked not to be identified. “It was like standard small talk, which was odd,” Guerra's brother said. He was like, ‘If you need something, let me know.’”After learning the details of how his brother died, Guerra's brother said he hopes this incident serves as awareness to others. Motorcyclist injured in crash with van
SAN ANTONIO – A woman in her 20s was hospitalized after she hit a van while riding a motorcycle, San Antonio police said. The crash occurred just before 10:30 p.m. Tuesday near Loop 410 and Culebra Road on the city’s West Side. According to police, the van was pulling out of a parking lot when the woman riding the motorcycle hit them. The motorcyclist was taken to University Hospital in critical condition. Police said no charges are expected to be filed as a result of the crash.
