But there is also footage from Parkerโs final season in San Antonio and the injury that almost ended his career in the 2017 playoffs. It was produced by a French film crew and directed by French filmmaker Florent Bodin. โThis film examines the background and career of Tony Parker, whose determination led him to become arguably the greatest French basketball player,โ Netflix said about the documentary. Spurs will continue playing without fans in stands as COVID-19 trends worsen in San Antonio

The current COVID-19 trends are similar to the summer surge in San Antonio when reopening phases had to be paused due to the virusโ spread across the state of Texas. Despite dealing with a similar surge in Houston, the Rockets are allowing fans into the Toyota Center on a limited basis. The Spurs news release did not reveal when the team planned to starts allowing fans back in the stadium.

Manu Ginobili returns to world-renowned bat cave just outside San Antonio
SAN ANTONIO Spurs legend Manu Ginobili paid a return visit to Bracken Cave, and he posted about it on Twitter. The cave is home to the worlds largest bat colony and is located just 20 minutes outside the city of San Antonio. Every June, the Mexican free-tailed bats at Bracken Cave give birth to one pup each, bringing the total population up to about 20 million bats. The former-Spur, who retired in 2018, swatted a bat out of mid-air during an NBA game in 2009. We recently visited again Bracken Cave, the largest bat colony in the world, only 20 miles from SA.

Spurs look to stay unbeaten at home against Jazz
SAN ANTONIO โ The San Antonio Spurs will be looking to extend their home winning streak to 13 games when they host the Utah Jazz tonight in the AT&T Center. The Jazz are two games under .500 (10-12), but the Spurs are expecting a tough game, their first meeting with the Jazz this season. "If you say 'Jazz', they are going to play hard it is going to be physical," Ginobili said. "We are going to need to be on our 'A' game tonight, they are obviously very physical, very young," said Patty Mills. If the Spurs can pull off a victory tonight, Spurs head coach Gregg Popovich will pass Rick Adelman for eighth on the all time NBA wins list.
