The Bexar County Sheriffโs Office is searching for a man caught on camera attempting to break into a far West Side home with a prybar. The incident happened around 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Culebra Road and Galm Road.

Texas Department of Public Safety asking for publicโs help in solving 1979 homicide of 7-year-old girl
The Texas Department of Public Safety is asking for the publicโs help in solving the 1979 homicide of 7-year-old Elizabeth Barclay. Barclay was killed by a 30 to 35-year-old man who kidnapped her when she was out with her brother and friend, according to officials. Barclayโs remains were found on the side of a road in Van Zandt County, police said. According to Texas Public Safety, the case was reopened about a year ago by Texas Rangers. They are asking for anyone with any information on the suspect to come forward.
Georgia police investigated for firing at car carrying kids
Nobody was injured by the gunshots in Waycross near the Georgia-Florida state line, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation said. The vehicle stopped and the three younger children got out and ran and the officer began to follow them. A car full of unarmed children,โ Dominique Goodman Sr., who identified himself as the childrenโs father, told WJXT-TV. Goodman said the children were coming home from Walmart when an officer began following them in his patrol car. He said the younger children got out and tried to run home to alert him and he stepped outside after hearing them screaming.
Suspect identified in fatal stabbing of Comal man, police say
COMAL COUNTY, Texas โ The Comal County Sheriffโs Office has identified the victim in a fatal stabbing that happened on Sunday, and apprehended a suspect in the case. โDeputies with the Comal County Directed Deployment unit located the vehicle described as a gold Toyota Camry traveling on FM 2673 in Startzville. Davis was taken into custody and transported to the Criminal Investigation Division for questioning, the Sheriffโs Office said. The Sheriffโs Office said Davis confessed to the stabbing and is currently being held at the Comal County Jail. The investigation by Detectives with Comal County Sheriffโs Office and the Texas Rangers is ongoing.

Harlandale ISD leaders discuss latest developments in TEA investigation
SAN ANTONIO โ Nearly three years after the Texas Education Agency opened an investigation into the Harlandale Independent School District, the case is now making its way before the districtโs new leadership. A TEA investigation opened in 2017 found that he had mishandled contracts. The school board was also accused of violating the Open Meetings Act, but the TEA found it was not as severe as presented.
