SAN ANTONIO – With the NBA Draft and free agency around the corner, the Spurs trade rumor mill is in overdrive. DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge and stalwart guard Patty Mills have all been linked to possible deals with other teams. If DeRozan wants a new deal, he can do a sign-and-trade with the Spurs and another team. It’s been reported that the Philadelphia 76ers and the Milwaukee Bucks have expressed interest in trading for Mills. NBA free agency starts on Nov. 20.

Spurs to host virtual watch party with giveaways, exclusive content on NBA draft night
SAN ANTONIO – For the first time in more than two decades, the Spurs will select a player in the NBA Draft Lottery. The team announced Thursday will host a virtual watch party for fans on Wednesday, Nov. 18, during the 2020 NBA Draft. The virtual watch party is available exclusively via the official Spurs fan group on Facebook. The virtual watch party will also include a look back at previous with current players and Spurs legends while celebrating the franchise’s fandom and lifestyle. The Spurs are in this year’s NBA Draft lottery after missing the playoffs for the first time since the 1996-97 season.

Ex-Wagner star Jordan Clarkson to declare for NBA Draft
Former Wagner Thunderbirds star and Missouri guard Jordan Clarkson will pass up his final year of collegiate eligibility and declare for the NBA Draft. The 6-foot-5 Clarkson averaged 17.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.4 assists per game this season for the Tigers. Clarkson was named to the All-SEC second-team and scored in double figures in 34 of 35 games this season. Clarkson spent his first two seasons playing at Tulsa and then transferred to Missouri. According to ESPN.com, Clarkson is considered a late first-round pick who can play either backcourt spot.
