Karnes County experienced its fourth earthquake this week — and this one was actually strong enough to be felt in neighboring Wilson County.

West Texas got a little rumble on Tuesday just a day after Karnes County experienced three temblors.

A correctional officer for a private prison in Karnes County was arrested Friday in connection with smuggling contraband and narcotics into the facility, the US Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Texas said.
