SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department is requesting the public’s help in identifying and locating a North Side robbery suspect. According to police, on Feb. 1, police were dispatched to the Little Ceasar’s Pizza restaurant located at 4431 Blanco Road. Police say an employee was robbed by a man wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans and a black backpack. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to a felony arrest in this crime. SAN ANTONIO – Papa John’s franchise owners in San Antonio donated 100,000 face masks to the San Antonio Chapter of the Texas Restaurant Association on Friday. The group, Pizza Ventures of San Antonio, LLC, DBA Papa John’s Pizza, is comprised of 21 stores in San Antonio that employ 500 people. Clark Mandigo III, the president and COO of Pizza Venture of San Antonio, LLC, said the group wanted to help the community combat the pandemic. “During this time of crisis, we stand in support of the restaurant industry,” Mandigo said in a statement. Can pizza actually be a healthy food to eat for breakfast? According to dietitian and nutritionist Chelsey Amer, yes it can. One tip to keep things relatively healthy: Use whole wheat or cauliflower crust for fiber and red sauce over white. And two, use vegetables or lean meats such as chicken, turkey sausage or Canadian bacon for toppings instead of fatty meat and fried toppings. Through these steps, pizza can actually be a healthier alternative than a traditional box of cereal in the morning.

Thats why Howard Rosen shared a little gem on The Best Advice Show on how to properly reheat pizza so thats its not soggy and greasy. Its this simple: All Rosen does is put a little bit of olive oil in a pan on top of the stove. He makes sure to cover it so that the top of the pizza gets warm, too.
