SAPD searching for suspects after attempted ATM burglary
SAN ANTONIO โ San Antonio police are searching for the suspects responsible for an attempted burglary of an automatic teller machine on the cityโs Northeast Side early Wednesday morning. The incident occurred around 4 a.m. at a Frost Bank near Loop 410 and Nacogdoches Road. According to police, the suspects first broke a barricade and then tried to break into the ATM, causing minor damage to the back side of the machine. Police said the burglars however never got inside the machine, and instead drove off. Security guards say they saw a pickup truck leaving the scene, but police did not give a description of the suspects or the vehicle.
Crooks end up withdrawing their plans after ATM break-in fails
SAN ANTONIO โ Some would-be burglars are empty-handed after their plans to break into an ATM on the cityโs Northwest Side failed. San Antonio police say the crooks set off an alarm inside the machine, which is outside a bank at the corner of Callaghan and Babcock roads. Nearby was a white pickup which police say was stolen and was being used by the criminals to try to steal or open the ATM. The crooks did manage to yank open part of the outer housing, but police say they did not get inside or get any of the cash. Crime scene investigators collected parts of the broken machine and truck as evidence, and dusted the pickup for fingerprints.

SAN ANTONIO The San Antonio Police Department is asking for the publics help in identifying two men they said stole a motorcycle in broad daylight from a San Antonio neighborhood. A yellow 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa motorcycle was taken between 11 and 11:30 a.m. on July 21 from the 200 block of Center Street. The men were seen in a red 2015 Ford F-150. Burglars use stolen pickup truck with chain in destruction, theft of ATM, police say
SAN ANTONIO San Antonio police are investigating the destruction and burglary of an ATM on the citys North Side early Friday morning. The incident occurred around 4:20 a.m. at a Lone Star National Bank in the 15320 block of Huebner Road, not far from Loop 1604. According to police, an officer answered an alarm call and pulled into the parking lot to find a running stolen pickup truck with a chain and some tools on the ground next to a smashed ATM. Police said the thieves were successful in getting an undisclosed amount of cash from the machine. Investigators are now using surveillance cameras to help identify the suspects.
2 men sought in theft of guns from NE Side store
SAN ANTONIO San Antonio police are investigating the robbery of several guns at a Northeast Side firearm store early Thursday morning. Officers were called around 5 a.m. to Ranger Firearms in the 1300 block of Austin Highway after receiving reports of a break-in. According to police, two men managed to break into the store and steal several guns. Police said it appears that the men only took the weapons in the theft. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is on the scene and investigating with SAPD.
San Antonio man arrested after caught on camera stealing from storage facililty
SAN ANTONIO โ Security camera footage helped authorities trace and capture a man seen breaking locks and stealing from storage units at a local storage facility. This all happened on April 15 at the Life Storage Facility in the 3300 block of SW Military Drive. According to an arrest affidavit, the manager told police she noticed several locks from storage units were either missing or damaged. Police reviewed security footage from the facility, showing a suspect breaking locks on the units. He was later apprehended and admitted to being the man in the video and to the burglaries.

Each burglary took place at different locations but each was captured by surveillance video, which led police to make an arrest. Fidencio Soto, 41, was arrested Friday, but police believed the burglaries began back in early November. SAN ANTONIO โ Two delivery drivers may have unknowingly interrupted a burglary in progress at a South Side restaurant Tuesday morning. However, the delivery men immediately noticed things were out of sort inside the business and called 911. They told police they could see the ceiling tiles hanging down inside the business and noticed that an iPad and computer were missing. Police say it appears the burglars entered the business by cutting a hole in the roof. Investigators planned to look at surveillance video from the business for clues.

Man accused in six burglary cases in West Side neighborhood admits to crimes, police say
SAN ANTONIO โ A man is facing multiple burglary charges for six cases all in one neighborhood near Culebra Creek Park on the West Side. Joshua Hauger was found in a wooded area near one of the burglary locations, an affidavit stated. Police said they found several ID cards, a victim's work badge and another victim's paycheck on Hauger. Surveillance video helped identify the suspect, police said. Hauger admitted to several car burglaries and to being a lookout for another suspect.
