Woman charged with murder after she shot, killed man at La Cantera apartment, SA police say
SAN ANTONIO – A 21-year-old woman is behind bars and charged with murder after San Antonio police say she shot and killed a man at an upscale La Cantera apartment last week. The shooting happened at The Towers complex in the 16700 block of La Cantera Parkway. According to the arrest affidavit, Skare was in a relationship with Derouen at the time of his death. However, according to the affidavit, the number did not actually belong to his wife, and the woman had a different voice. SAPD identifies wanted suspect, victim killed in upscale La Cantera apartment
SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have identified a man who was shot and killed in his Northwest Side apartment and they’ve also named the suspect wanted for the crime. Martell Derouen, 34, was found shot to death on Tuesday inside his apartment at The Towers complex in the 16700 block of La Cantera Parkway by officers who were conducting a welfare check. A woman called police to report that she had not heard from the man in several days. SAPD officials have named a suspect in the crime. Sasha Skare, 21, is wanted on an active murder warrant.

Stretches of I-10 on Northwest Side will be closed for expansion project

The scheduled closures are part of the the department’s I-10 expansion project. The closures will allow crews to install digital message boards. The closures will begin on Tuesday and end by early Thursday, according to a news release from the department. Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area until the roads are open again.
